The Space
St. Luke’s Parish is widely considered to be the most beautiful church in the area. Our worship space and our organ are unparalleled for the celebration of weddings. The interior of the church is a flawless example of the Gothic revival style of church architecture in this country, closely resembling the late medieval parish churches of rural England and France. Vaulted ceilings and richly carved wood combine to create a beautiful environment. Our stained glass floods the church with beautiful and dazzling light at all times of the day and year. The 102-rank Howell organis among the largest in the state and has been praised by renowned musicians from around the world. The space is versatile enough to accommodate all kinds of weddings from traditional to modern, and our church buildings offer attractive and ample space for all kinds of preparations. All of this adds up to the perfect location for your celebration, a beautiful backdrop for photographs, and memories that last a lifetime.

The Service
The Anglican/Episcopal wedding service is one of the most widely recognized services, and is very flexible. It has been used as the basis for the wedding ceremonies of several other denominations. It includes a declaration of consent, readings and reflections, the exchange of vows, a blessing of the marriage, and, if desired, the celebration of Holy Communion. All kinds of music, decorations, and meditations fit perfectly with the services offered here. If you are interested in celebrating a wedding from another tradition, we are perfectly willing for our space to be used by other licensed ministers.

The Celebration
Our Parish hall is available for all kinds of celebrations, and offers an attractive environment for everything from cocktail receptions to fully catered dinners. Our recently remodeled kitchens and hall can accommodate gatherings of up to 200 people. The stage in our hall is big enough for a band, but looks just as good with a DJ; it can also be used as a space for the head table. Like the Church, our hall is completely handicapped accessible.

Other celebrations
Our church is available for all kinds of other events, from baptism and marriage vow renewal, to concerts and lectures. Our hall is available for dinners, dances, gatherings, and all kinds of other events. Simply contact the Parish Office for more information.
